Participating contractors are businesses agreeing to comply with State regulations and licensing.  This list is not a recommendation by ACU, of a particular contractor.

 Since the availability of service work and the associated prices will vary by contractor, you may wish to shop around for comparison.  Ask your contractor about minimum charges, hourly rates, and cost of materials. 

It is suggested that a contract be executed prior to commencement of work so all costs are understood.  Regulations state, that the contractor must comply with national, state and local codes pertaining to the work performed.  It is the responsibility of the consumer to verify that the contractor complies with applicable codes and ordinances, and that all applicable permits are obtained. 

Always make sure that anyone you hire is licensed, bonded, and insured to work in your state and county.  ACU is not responsible for any work performed by contractors listed within.  Never hire a handyman to perform tradesman work such as Electrical, Plumbing, Heating & Air-Conditioning. 

If you have any kind of accident or fire your insurance company may decline responsibility if you use an unlicensed contractor.  ACU makes no representation or warranties, expressed or implied, concerning the amount of energy savings, the materials installed by, or the workmanship of a participating contractor.  Always get at least 3 estimates for large projects.  

Handy Man Services, never use a un-licensed contractor to perform work that requires the contractor to have a license or permit.  Utilities type work should always be done by a licensed contractor.  For your safety.
